On August 26, 2025, CIMC Vehicles (301039.SZ) held its 2025 interim results briefing. In the first half of 2025, CIMC Vehicles maintained steady growth, achieving revenue of 9.75 billion yuan and gross profit of 1.46 billion yuan. In the first half of 2025, the global semi-trailer business achieved operating revenue of 6.924 billion yuan and contributed 1.129 billion yuan in gross profit, producing a total of 53,000 semi-trailers of various types.
Starlink Semi-Trailer LTP Group further promoted the iteration of its organizational operating model and business transformation plan, and implemented efficiency-enhancing measures in various areas, including design optimization, production line upgrades, and scheduling structure optimization. Compared to the first half of 2024, the efficiency of the four major production sections has significantly improved, with overall output increasing by 21%, per capita output increasing by 20%, and direct labor and manufacturing costs per semi-trailer decreasing by 15%.
In the first half of 2025, the global Southern semi-trailer business continued its high-quality development momentum, achieving a leap in profitability while maintaining scale expansion, forming a dual-optimal structure of "steady growth and significant benefits." Sales in the region increased by 13.0% year-on-year, gross profit margin increased by 4.6%, and profitability grew strongly.
In addition, the company continued to deepen its strategic layout in emerging markets such as Southeast Asia and Africa, completing the construction of the Asean Vanguard business cluster within the Global Southern market framework and achieving market breakthroughs. Leveraging the resource aggregation effect of the "Mango" factory, the Thai market achieved rapid response to local demand, with semi-trailer sales increasing by 44.0% year-on-year and revenue surging by 63.5% year-on-year, becoming a benchmark for regional business. The Vietnamese market actively seized opportunities from rapid regional economic growth, with revenue increasing significantly by 270% year-on-year.
The Australian business actively expanded into core regional markets, established a LoD/LoM business model, and explored a dual-brand marketing strategy. Combined with the supply chain cost savings brought about by the "Starlink Project," sales increased by 16.4% year-on-year and gross profit margin increased by 2.3%, fully demonstrating the company's advantages in cross-oceanic supply chain collaboration. The European semi-trailer business demonstrated strong resilience in a market environment experiencing a weak recovery. By focusing on improving operational efficiency and leveraging its strengths in the global semi-trailer supply chain, the business maintained steady growth.
In the first half of 2025, the UK subsidiary SDC's revenue increased by 8.7% year-on-year. Based on its assessment of a medium- to long-term demand recovery in the European market, the company began construction of its European high-end underframe and superstructure parts plants in the first half of 2025, gearing up for its third entrepreneurial phase.
Despite the dual impact of tariffs and a sharp decline in demand, the North American semi-trailer business achieved sales of 7,888 units in the first half of 2025, demonstrating strong resilience in the face of adversity. Vanguard GT's Vanguard Parts business continued to maintain strong growth momentum. The North American semi-trailer business is expected to enter a weak recovery in the second half of 2025.
