Why do the five Central Asian countries favor SAHCAMN Heavy Truck?

Foreword

The Silk Road is just the beginning of the relationship between China and the five Central Asian countries. With the rise of modern trade, trade exchanges such as heavy trucks have become more frequent.

In the first quarter of 2023, SHACAMN's economic and trade cooperation with the five Central Asian countries has developed strongly, with import and export values increasing by 54.1% year-on-year. Especially heavy-duty trucks have grown rapidly, and have maintained the first place in the market.

Today, SHACMAN's heavy truck fleet continues to drive into the five Central Asian countries. In Kazakhstan alone, there are currently nearly a hundred Shaanxi companies or companies investing in Shaanxi.

Seize the markets of the five Central Asian countries

The automobile industry is one of Shaanxi's advantageous industries, mainly concentrated in the fields of new energy vehicles and heavy trucks.

Overseas markets are an important segment of Shaanxi Automobile Group. Among them, the Central Asian market has performed well and has maintained its first place in the market. Ranked first in the market for five consecutive years, with a 10% increase in market share. Generally speaking, the higher the market share, the stronger the competitiveness, which also means that SHACMAN is also very recognized in foreign markets.

On the one hand, Shaanxi Automobile itself has a competitive advantage. Shaanxi Automobile's export products cover a full range of models such as tractors, dump trucks, trucks, and special vehicles, covering diesel heavy trucks, gas heavy trucks, and new energy heavy trucks.

On the other hand, it is inseparable from the own needs of the five Central Asian countries.

Kazakhstan's manufacturing industry is characterized by heavy mining, because the country is a resource-based country. Oil, natural gas, minerals and other energy sources are mainly mined for raw materials. Its own processing capacity is not enough to supply the country's closed-loop use. At the same time, the country's financial investment direction It focuses more on energy and chemicals, and Shaanxi Automobile's products just meet the needs of the local market.

"Going out" experience

Looking back on the development history of SAHCMAN going abroad, it is not difficult to find that in the process of continuous innovation and development, it pays more attention to user experience.

In the international market, different countries and regions have different user needs due to the comprehensive impact of geographical environment, local policies and regulations, etc. In response to this situation, Shaanxi Automobile has implemented the "one country, one vehicle" product strategy, dispatched many experienced product managers to the front lines of overseas markets to conduct research, and relied on the vehicle driving big data platform to tailor exclusive products for customers.

The service is also in place. Shaanxi Automobile provides overall solutions including products, services, accessories, etc. for the "Belt and Road" construction projects.

In addition, in terms of talent exchange, Xi'an has also become the city with the largest number of foreign students in Kazakhstan.

So far, among the foreign students from Central Asia introduced into various universities in Shaanxi, the number of undergraduate graduates from Kazakhstan alone has reached 10,000.

Opportunities for SHACMAN

As the "leader" of the five Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan's first Consulate General in China is located in Shanghai. Now it has settled in Xi'an, which is located in the geographical center of China. It will become an important hub for economic and trade exchanges between Shaanxi and the five Central Asian countries.

According to Xinhua News Agency, Xi'an launched its first international flight to Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, on May 18, and its first international flight from Xi'an to Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, took off on May 13.

Xi'an will achieve full coverage of passenger routes to the five Central Asian countries, and will also become the only city in the country that takes the lead in providing navigation to all five Central Asian countries.

Nowadays, trade between China and Central Asia is in full swing.

In 2022, the bilateral trade volume between China and the five Central Asian countries will reach US$70.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of approximately 40%, reaching a record high. Among them, China's imports of agricultural products, energy products, and mineral products from Central Asian countries all increased by more than 50% year-on-year, and exports of mechanical and electrical products to Central Asian countries increased by 42% year-on-year.

"Factors such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict have affected the trade between Central Asia and Europe. Electromechanical and mechanical products are relatively scarce, which is a good opportunity for enterprises in China and even Shaanxi."
